The Judge follows shady lawyer Hank Palmer, played by Robert Downey Jr caught up in the trial of his judge father who is facing hit-and-run charges. The story is a perfect depiction of the difficulties of a father-son relationship.

Filmmaker Felix Van Groeningen’s movie is heartbreaking and shows the descent of a family when their son falls into addiction. This film includes Timothee Chalamet as the main character, Nic Sheff, who struggles with addiction. This movie also includes Steve Carell, as his loving and supportive father, David Sheff, who was nothing but loving and supportive towards his son.
