The much-anticipated Annual Fest, AURA 2024, at the Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences (GAIMS) launched with an unforgettable opening ceremony on 7 Oct 2024. The event showcased a dynamic march past by the GAIMS Gharana (Mentorship House System), reflecting the unity and pride of our esteemed institution. This weeklong celebration, driven by the passion and energy of GAIMS students, perfectly aligns with the vibrant Navratri festivities under the theme ‘Ojas’.

Students from various Gharanas, dressed in vibrant uniform colours, paraded with enthusiasm and team spirit, setting the tone for the festival. The grand opening began with a cake cutting ceremony and flash mob performance by students.

The fest, spanning seven days, offered a wide range of events across cultural, fine arts, literature, sports, and fun categories. Cultural competitions like dance, music, and skit brought out the artistic talents of the students, while fine arts events such as t-shirt painting, rangoli, sketching, and photography added a creative flair. Literature events like poem writing, short story, debate, Shark Tank like event, open mic proved to be the platforms of expressions.

Sports enthusiasts were not left behind, as various outdoor and indoor games were organised, including cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, carrom, chess, athletics, tug of war, ensuring a competitive yet friendly atmosphere. Fun events like treasure hunts and quirky challenges provided entertainment and relaxation for participants and attendees alike.

The AURA night organised at the final day on 12 Oct witnessed vibrant stage performances by the students. Presence of dignitaries, guests from the Armed forces and alumni association members was a special feature this year.

AURA 2024 not only highlighted the talents and management skills of GAIMS students but also fostered camaraderie and healthy competition, making it a memorable event for all involved. The fest continues to be a symbol of GAIMS' vibrant student life and commitment to holistic development.
