The Northstar 5.0 program has recently wrapped up with an impressive convocation, showcasing the outstanding achievements of its participants. A key highlight was the prestigious recognition awarded to the Northstar Scholars and EMERITUS Global Scholars, which celebrated the top performers in this transformative year-long journey. Their success not only reflects hard work but also inspires future participants to strive for excellence.

The Northstar program at Adani is a transformative initiative designed to prepare future leaders by developing leadership readiness and building a strong foundation for Owner-Managers of tomorrow. Targeted at individuals progressing to Manager of Managers roles, Northstar spans over a year and includes 45 training days spread across four modules. With a focus on competencies necessary for Function/Department Managers, the program has produced over 500 alumni since its inception in 2017.

In this edition, ten participants were honored with the Northstar Scholars status, a testament to their consistent learning efforts and outstanding performance.

This accolade reflects a weighted average of various metrics, including performance in Group Action Learning Projects, Individual Projects, Grade Points from Tuck School of Dartmouth and Columbia Business School modules, active engagement in classroom and virtual sessions, LMS engagement, pre-read completion, quiz and survey responses, exemplary submission badges and submission consistency.

Seventeen participants were awarded the EMERITUS Global Scholars status, highlighting their high level of academic performance.This recognition is based on the Composite Grade Points Average (CGPA) obtained in various program modules, which are rigorously reviewed by EMERITUS Graders. The achievements of these scholars are also reflected in their Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) transcripts.

These top achievers can now apply their learnings in their current roles, emerging as leaders in their domains. These leaders are also expected to prepare for future rotations into different roles, enriching their growth journey with varied experiences and broadening their skill sets.
