The Adani Foundation has successfully completed 28 years of positively impacting lives and communities across the country. The dedicated on-ground teams and communities commemorated this milestone with a week-long celebration featuring mass tree plantations, health camps, and cultural programmes. On 11 Aug 2024, known as the Adani Foundation Day, a special program took place at the Adani Foundation head office in Ahmedabad. Over 800 Foundation employees from various sites came together virtually to participate in the event alongside Dr Priti Adani, Shilin Adani, Vasant Gadhavi, and the esteemed senior leadership of the Foundation.

The virtual event saw glimpses of celebrations that were held across the sites. People presented cultural performances, highlighting the ethos of the state. Messages of beneficiaries were also played during the event. They extended their wishes to the Adani Foundation for completing 28 years of dedicated service, while expressing their gratitude for bringing a positive change in their lives. This was followed by a musical medley by students of Adani Schools which celebrated the ethos of the Foundation and its contribution to the betterment of society.

On the occasion, Mrs Shilin, Trustee, Adani Foundation, praised the commendable initiatives that the Foundation has been undertaking in the areas of education, health & nutrition, sustainable livelihoods, climate action, and community development. She said the next decade of the Foundation will be full of excitement and fresh challenges, and members of the Adani Foundation family must create a bigger and larger impact for the betterment of societies.

Lauding the work being done at the grassroots, Dr Priti, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, said the Foundation is currently reaching out to over 9 million people across 6,700+ villages in 19 states, a number that is only increasing. She said that the day is not far when the Foundation will positively impact the lives of 10 million people. She further said that India is home to the world’s largest young population and is poised to flourish at the forefront of technological advancement and entrepreneurship while urging everyone to do their part.

In the run-up to the Adani Foundation Day, massive tree plantation drives were conducted across the country. The drives highlighted the Foundation’s continuous commitment towards enhancing green cover and envisioning a more sustainable tomorrow for generations to come.

As part of the celebrations, special health camps were organised for communities at the grassroots. The Foundation firmly believes that access to quality healthcare and medical services is fundamental for all, and through such dedicated medical camps, the Foundation further strengthened this belief. Several cattle health camps were also organised as part of the celebrations.

As the Adani Foundation gears up to complete three decades of serving communities, it moves ahead with renewed energy and enthusiasm to impact more lives through its holistic interventions. It remains committed to enabling inclusive, sustainable, and transformative development while expanding its footprints of goodness to every nook and corner of India.
