BeConnected, the women's collective initiative of the Adani Group, hosted the highly anticipated Game-O-Thon 2.0 on 21st January 2025, at the Adani Shantigram Cricket Ground. Led by Leena Bhatt and team, the event brought together women from across the organisation. Participants were split into four teams, each represented by a distinct colour: Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow.

The event kicked off with teams from various Adani departments engaging in a series of dynamic and interactive games, including Pyramid Relay, Frisbee-land, Mat Dance, Hula-Hoop Chain, and Tug of War. The selection of games was designed not only to encourage physical participation but also to emphasise the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving shared goals.

Zeel-ous Spirit

Zeel Rohit, Sustainability Manager – Environment & Sustainability, expressed her fulfilment in seeing women come together for a day that blended enjoyment, teamwork, and a sense of empowerment.

“I had the privilege of being both a coordinator and participant at the BeConnected Game-O-Thon 2.0. Watching everyone engage in games like the Pyramid Relay, Frisbee-land, and tug of war, and witnessing their enthusiasm, made all the planning worth it. It was amazing to contribute to an event that brought together women from diverse departments. The event wrapped up with a heartwarming prize distribution and a delightful brunch, and I was proud of how everything came together.”

Tugging Togetherness

Parthvi Patel, Engineer at CAPEX, reflects on her dynamic experience at Game-O-Thon 2.0, sharing how the intense tug-of-war emphasised teamwork, strategy, and the power of collaboration.

“Participating in Game-O-Thon 2.0, especially the intense tug-of-war, was an absolute thrill. It wasn’t just about the physical strength needed to pull the rope; it was about aligning with your teammates, reading the opposing team’s strategy, and adjusting on the fly. Balancing strategy with raw power was crucial, and seeing everyone come together to push toward a common goal was incredibly rewarding. The experience wasn’t just about winning or losing, it was a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration, trust, and communication. It offered a perfect work-life balance moment, where the usual stress of work melted away, replaced by joy, connection, and teamwork.”

It highlighted the importance of physical fitness and health, not just as a way to stay active, but as a key to unlocking confidence, energy, and empowerment in all aspects of life. The event truly showcased how prioritising our well-being through a variety of exercises, including cardio, weight training, and flexibility routines, can have a transformative impact on our bodies and minds. It was incredible to witness women pushing their limits, embracing new challenges, and supporting one another along the way. Whether it was the stamina required in cardio, the strength built through weight training, or the balance achieved through flexibility exercises, every moment reflected the power of consistent self-care."
