It is with immense pride that I share a significant milestone for Adani Electricity. We have been recognised by the Ministry of Power (MoP) as India’s No. 1 Utility, achieving excellence in both Performance and Customer Service. This commendation not only highlights our relentless pursuit of quality but also reinforces our position as a leader within the power sector.
For the third consecutive year, we have secured the top position in the 13th Integrated Rating Exercise conducted by PFC, a recognition that highlights our unmatched financial stability. Furthermore, we are honoured to have received an A+ grade in the Consumer Service Rating of DISCOMs (CSRD) Report for FY 2023-24 by REC. These accolades are a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering reliable, sustainable, and customer-focused power solutions. To add to it, we have been ranked India’s Number One Urban and Overall Utility in the first-ever Distribution Utilities Ranking (DUR) Report for FY 2023-24.
Further strengthening our leadership, we have exceeded Renewable Purchase Obligations (RPO), reinforcing our commitment to a sustainable energy transition and decarbonisation. Additionally, 100% of our feeders and distribution transformers are equipped with remote meter reading capabilities.

Understanding Our Achievements
The Integrated Rating & Ranking of Power Distribution Utilities by PFC is a rigorous evaluation of both financial and operational performance. It assesses various factors, including Financial Sustainability and Performance Excellence, providing vital insights into our operational effectiveness.
The CSRD report, now in its fourth edition, measures consumer service excellence across critical areas such as Operational Reliability, Connections and Other Services, Metering, Billing & Collections, and Fault Rectification & Grievance Redressal. Our performance in these areas is a reflection of our dedication to enhancing customer satisfaction.
Highlights of Our Performance
As we serve over 3 million consumers in Mumbai, we are proud to be among only six DISCOMs across the nation to have achieved an A+ rating in the CSRD report. Our exceptional performance in Operational Reliability and Grievance Redressal showcases our responsiveness and commitment to our customers.
Key achievements such as 100% compliance in timely outage alerts and facilitating over 87% digital bill payments illustrate our innovative approach to service delivery. Our outstanding financial management and operational efficiency have established us as India’s most financially robust utility.

For the residents of Mumbai, these distinctions translate into fewer outages, faster grievance resolutions, transparent billing processes, and a seamless digital payment experience.
