With this core message from Vinod Bahety, CEO, Cement Business, Adani Cement reaffirmed its stance on zero compromise on safety during the 3rd annual Suraksha Bandhan initiative on 27 August 2026 across 45 plants and sites, including Ambuja and ACC.
Guided by Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani’s conviction that all workplace injuries and illnesses are preventable, the business combines Felt Leadership with modern technology—such as drones, sensors and robotics—to eliminate high-risk exposure.

This year's event brought together more than 3,000 colleagues, children, and family members. Through morning Prabhat Pheris, safety skits featuring characters like "Bypass Babu" turning into "Suraksha Babu", and the symbolic tying of Suraksha wristbands, participants turned personal pledges into an organisational promise reiterating that safety begins with the individual in the mirror, ensuring every worker returns home safely every single day.
