Adani Defence Systems & Technologies Ltd. (ADSTL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with U.P. Industrial Consultants Limited (UPICON) to train facilities under a Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) with 20+ nodes in UP and other states. This engagement targets to promote the creation of a robust drone ecosystem, enabled by the supply of drones and drone services for applications on a case-to case basis, supported by the training of pilots and setting up of enabling infrastructure subject to such commercial terms as mutually agreed between the Parties. 

 

“The use of drones across industry will rise with the betterment of technology”, said Ashish Rajvanshi, CEO of Adani Defence & Aerospace. “Drone based applications give a competitive edge over traditional practices. Key advantages include better security, high efficiency, and better documentation. We will collaboratively set up a drone ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh, with particular focus on skill development and demand generation for drone-based services in Uttar Pradesh through technology-oriented skill development.” 

The objective of this MOU is to train entrepreneurs in flying drones, building micro entrepreneur businesses and improve livelihoods especially in Rural India. ADSTL and UPICON will supply certified pilots for drone-based applications and promote entrepreneurship among trained youth through the RPTOs.
